Wedding are all about celebrating a couple, but today's shoot celebrates those who helped along the way. “Being asked to be part of a wedding party can be a big, not to mention expensive, undertaking these days. There's the cost of wedding day attire and accessories; travel costs to showers, bach parties and to the wedding itself; and the pressure and expense of planning a shower,” explains Love List member Leah Weinberg of Color Pop Events. “All of this can add up, so when a couple, bride or groom acknowledges this effort and plans a brunch, party or night out to show the love and appreciation they have for these individuals that will be standing by their sides on the wedding day, it's great to see. And frankly, we'd like to see more of it.”
I couldn't agree more (I actually hosted a brunch for my wedding party!) and I love the edgy vibe that Leah, Sojourner Society and H&H Weddings created for this shoot that's part fashion, part beauty and 100 percent fun. (And can we please just pause for a moment and swoon over the candy-colored hair?)
