Jenny and Tara knew going in that they wanted their wedding to be comfortable, casual and cost-friendly! The soonlyweds smartly kept costs down by ordering their flowers from Sam's Club to DIY their arrangements (“We went simple and did sunflowers and baby's breath, and had a blast putting it all together with the help of the wedding party and some cocktails!” exclaim the brides), finding the dress on Amazon, DIY'ing the arbor for the ceremony and flower boxes for the decor (how great does that look?!), and enlisting their mothers for the desserts, one of which they didn't even get a bite of because it was so popular amongst guests!
After an emotional ceremony, they hosted their outdoor reception with yard games and a barbecue food truck. “Having the ceremony outside was a must and the barbecue food truck was a hit,” they said.
“My favorite part was seeing my beautiful wife at the end of the aisle waiting for me! Nothing else mattered in that moment and I let it show — I cried the whole time! The party after was a blast but the quiet/alone moments we had together were the most memorable.”
