A Modern Boho Farm Wedding with a Bold Black-and-White Palette

A simple, yet contrasting color palette made for one dreamy yet incredibly sleek design for Kara and James’ modern farm wedding.

Set in Massachusetts, the tented outdoor celebration took place at Bourne Farm. It was there the trendy details came to be.

“I wanted an outdoor tented wedding on the Cape but without the classic seaside vibes,” says Kara. “I wanted it to look timeless with splashes of modern trends. I could not commit to a color so we did a lot of black-and-white graphics with heavy white and green florals.”

Boxwood greens, geometric backdrops and table numbers, as well as patterned table numbers were other noteworthy details, with James and Kara’s fashion making a statement of their own. James wore a classic midnight blue tuxedo and Kara donned a gorgeous layered lace BHLDN dress. “I wanted something that was a little whimsy, unique, and of course, true to me.”
