Prismatic Ceremonies is an LGBTQ+ owned wedding officiant business creating inclusive, nonreligious ceremonies for rebels, romantics, and rule breakers across Youngstown, Northeast Ohio, and Western Pennsylvania.
I’m Brittany Wasson (she/they), and I work with LGBTQ+ couples and other beautifully non-cookie-cutter humans who want a ceremony with personality, intention, and none of the outdated assumptions. My job is to help you skip the generic script, keep what feels meaningful, and create a ceremony that actually sounds like you.
For a lot of couples, the hardest part is not just planning the ceremony. It is trusting that the person leading it will actually get it. I know how exhausting it can be to navigate wedding spaces full of assumptions, outdated language, and vendors who say they’re inclusive and/or open to your nonreligious ceremony but still make things weird. My work is about giving couples a ceremony experience that feels affirming, collaborative, and genuinely aligned from the start.
