Selena and Benny started dating in June 2023, and it’s clear this relationship is built on trust and mutual respect. Selena has even called it the “safest” she’s ever felt in a relationship, and we just love that for her.

I'm certain that her choosing the elongated diamond silhouette will ensure its popularity well into 2025.”

What sets Selena's marquise look apart is the bold diamond pavé, which as Jennifer points out is a welcome departure from the whisper thin pavé bands that have dominated engagement rings for years. “Clearly her center diamond is huge and the proportions of the band give the ring a boldness that looks perfect on her hand,” Jennifer adds. “Selena is such an icon of empowerment and I think her ring is a beautiful reflection of the big love she and Benny share.”

The estimated to cost for the six- to eight-carat ring is anywhere between $225,000 and $1M. But don't fret, Jennifer advises since her ring is a variation of a classic style — a prong set, pavé band — there are many ways to recreate this look at different price points. “Firstly, your center diamond will determine most of the budget for the ring. Since marquise cuts have an elongated shape, it covers more of the finger giving the stone a larger overall appearance at any weight. While a pavé set band is one option you could also set your marquise with one small diamond on either side for a little extra added sparkle without lots of bling.”
