Meghan Markle Wedding Dress

After months of speculation, Meghan Markle's wedding day look, and the designer behind it, has been revealed! Meghan went classic and understated for her ceremony dress, donning a bateau neckline and 3/4 sleeve designed by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy, who happens to be the first female creative director of the iconic brand.

Meghan accessorized with simple stud earrings, the Queen Mary's filigree tiara, and a decadent 16-foot veil.

According to the palace: “The dress epitomizes a timeless minimal elegance referencing the codes of the iconic House of Givenchy and showcasing the expert craftsmanship of its world-renowned Parisian couture atelier founded in 1952.”

“True to the heritage of the house, the pure lines of the dress are achieved using six meticulously placed seams. The focus of the dress is the graphic open bateau neckline that gracefully frames the shoulders and emphasizes the slender sculpted waist. The lines of the dress extend towards the back where the train flows in soft round folds cushioned by an underskirt in triple silk organza. The slim three-quarter sleeves add a note of refined modernity.”

She looks absolutely stunning, and I, for one, am excited to see what her reception dress is going to look like!
