Today's dapper inspiration comes to you courtesy of Pollyanna Events and Eileen Meny Photography. “We both felt the tradition of solely the bride getting a pre-wedding party a little out dated and started to brainstorm some ideas on what a good theme/catch for what a groom wedding shower would entail,” explains Eileen. “A little more polished and put together than a bachelor party, but still a party, we decided to draw inspiration from one of the classiest gentlemen of all time, James Bond.”
Not a detail was left unturned. The design team researched the movies and Ian Flemming's books to draw inspiration, from arrangements of carnations and red roses (Bond's preferred flora) to the dinner and cocktail menus. “Of course there's the classic martini, but he also favored Vespers, champagne, Negroni's, and when his work took him to New York City, Miller High Life.”
