For Love Inc.’s first holiday card, we wanted to create an inspiration shoot that was the epitome of the holidays: a cozy, festive gathering of friends and family. With plenty of wine.
Ashley of Dulce Dreams Events and I teamed up with Karma Flowers to turn the space into a holiday party wonderland, from a hot cocoa station to a decorated bar and Christmas ornaments abound while Brandi of Alexis June Weddings perfectly captured it from behind her lens. We invited the Love Inc. family—the Love List—over to be a part of it, allowing us to introduce these talented vendors to our readers. For the floral design, Trish and Kristyn of Karma Flowers added an unexpected splash of pink peonies into the traditional red-and-green scheme. “Don't be afraid to go outside the traditional holiday palettes!” Trish advised. They also kept things interesting by adding textural elements such as mini pine cones and fruit.

The place settings were made up of gold chargers and flatware, and gold-rimmed white china, accented with luxe acrylic menus from Bliss and Bone. The dining table featured plush, velvety linens by Nuage Designs and the high tops were decked out in a sparkling silver and gold design to create a truly classic holiday look.
Denton & Co. provided a deliciously seasonal hors d'oeuvres menu composed of endive topped with beet, fonduta and roasted beet, crostinis with butternut squash and pomegranate and finished with a fruit tartlet.

Inside, guests cozied up next to a fire, played games and snacked on cookies by Ovenly and cheese complemented with nuts, honey and mostarda by Denton & Co.

Stockings were hung by the chimney with care, flanked with wrapped presents and a basket stuffed with blankets to snuggle up with. A hot cocoa bar and gift-wrapping station were set up, as well as a vignette for guests to write letters to Santa and, of course, Christmas cocktails.
