An Elephant-Themed Nursery Tour

The adorable animal-themed nursery that Nicole and Danies created for their son Benjamin, and captured by Ashley Halas Photography, is anything but wild — the soft palette of grays and blues evoke a sense of calm and serenity. 

“I actually picked his elephant and giraffe quilt first and then picked pieces to go with it. I knew I wanted the overall theme to be jungle animals but wanted to keep it classic and simple and not over the top,” says Nicole. “My grandparents collected elephants, so they have always been an important symbol in our family. The two blue glass elephants were my grandfather's and are very special to me. Plus, elephants represent good luck and strength, which I love.”
