If there’s one way to keep a trend going, it’s finding ways to keep it fresh. The boho theme has staked its claim in the wedding world and doesn’t appear to be going anywhere any time soon, and today’s styled shoot is the perfect example of why. Inspired by the beauty and simplicity of eloping in the California mountains, Janae Marie Photography wanted to showcase a modern elopement with beautiful bohemian elements for an edgy couple who envisioned an intimate day for just the two of them.
The whimsical florals by JMD Floral, featuring sunny yellow ranunculus, pink foxgloves, hydrangeas and bay leaves, added just the right amount of color and brightened up the gloomy mountainside where a table draped in macrame, vintage glassware and purple taper candles awaited the newlyweds. And for the cherry on top of a perfect day, they indulged in a delicious bundt cake that was adorned with flowers. It doesn't get any sweeter than that!
