Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Wedding: Every Wedding Detail Revealed [LIVE UPDATES]

After months of speculation (and a whirlwind 48 hours of rumors), Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially married.

The superstar couple, who got engaged last summer after two years of dating, tied the knot today in an extravagant ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City, with new details continuing to emerge throughout the evening. Here’s everything we know so far.

The Wedding Took Place at Madison Square Garden

One of the world’s most iconic venues was transformed into a wedding venue for the occasion. Reports indicate the arena underwent an extensive makeover, with décor pieces being spotted brought in labeled “Garden Party” and “Mirror Ball.”

Madison Square Garden Confirmed the Marriage

Rather than announcing the news themselves, Madison Square Garden displayed “JUST&T MARRIED” across the venue, giving fans the first official confirmation that the couple had tied the knot.

Taylor Wore Custom Christian Dior Haute Couture

According to representative of Swift, she wore a custom Christian Dior Haute Couture wedding gown designed by Jonathan Anderson, marking one of his first major celebrity bridal creations for the fashion house. She completed the look with Cartier jewelry and custom Christian Louboutin shoes.

While the designers are the only official detail confirmed, AMC CEO Adam Aron, who was a guest at the wedding, shared in an Instagram post that it had a long veiled train.

Travis Also Wore Dior

Kelce coordinated with his bride in a custom Dior look of his own, paired with custom Christian Louboutin shoes. Aron also shared in his Instagram post that Travis’s tux was white.

There Was No Traditional Wedding Party

Rather than a lineup of bridesmaids and groomsmen, Swift and Kelce reportedly kept things in the family. Taylor’s brother, Austin Swift, served as her Man of Honor, while Travis’s brother, Jason Kelce, stood beside him as Best Man.

It’s a choice that reflects a growing wedding trend. More couples are opting for smaller wedding parties, or skipping them altogether, to simplify planning and focus on the people who have played the biggest role in their lives.

Adam Sandler Officiated

The couple tapped actor and comedian Adam Sandler to officiate their wedding. While it may seem like an unexpected choice at first glance, Sandler has become a close friend of the couple in recent years. Travis Kelce and Sandler developed a friendship while filming Happy Gilmore 2, and Sandler has been outspoken about his admiration for both Kelce and Swift. He’s called Kelce a “great human” and has shared that his daughters are longtime Swifties, even saying the singer “means so much to our house.”

Rather than asking a religious leader or a lifelong family friend to lead the ceremony, Swift and Kelce chose someone who became part of their shared chapter together. It’s a subtle but meaningful distinction — one that celebrates not just where each of them came from, but the life and friendships they’ve built as a couple.

It’s a reminder that an officiant doesn’t have to be the person who’s known you the longest. Sometimes, the most meaningful choice is someone who represents your relationship itself and has witnessed your love story unfold. For couples planning their own wedding, it’s a thoughtful example of choosing an officiant based on significance rather than tradition.

Ahead of the wedding, Swift and Kelce announced a combined $26 million donation benefiting organizations including Feeding America and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

It Rained on the Wedding Day

Minutes after Madison Square made the announcement, it started raining. Quite fitting, as if you’ve watched Taylor during a concert (either livestreaming or in-person), you know she loves a good rain show! And, it’s long been considered a symbol of good luck for weddings in many cultures representing renewal, cleansing, and a marriage that’s built to weather life’s storms. Whether you’re superstitious or not, it’s hard not to appreciate the poetic timing!

The Wedding Decor

While no official details from Swift’s team have been shared, the AMC CEO Adam Aron continued to share what he saw in elaborate detail. “It did not look like Madison Square Garden. Immediately upon entry, everything … floor, walls, ceilings … was draped in peach and white. Large blown up pictures of Taylor and Travis at each age, year by year from one-year-old to late teenagerhood, were on display. A small portion of MSG was cordoned off, devoid of any notion that that [sic] a basketball or hockey game ever shared that space. Somehow magically, someone created an outdoor garden at a lush countryside retreat. Everything draped off this time in green and white. Real flowers and I think artificial trees welcomed fifteen rows of maybe 75 or so chairs. They say there were around one thousand attendees, but surprisingly, it all felt intimate and small. Everything was close.”
