In love & Queer

Laura P. Alvarez is a queer, neurodivergent photographer based between Mexico and the United States who founded In Love & Queer as a space where LGBTQ+ couples and anyone who loves outside conventional norms are the main characters. Available worldwide for weddings, elopements, engagements, and casual sessions, Laura captures moments with a documentary-editorial approach that celebrates bodies as they are and joy without apology, drawing special attention to those unguarded celebrations when people forget the camera is there. After years of not seeing herself reflected in the traditional wedding industry, she built this project by and for the queer community, photographing polyamorous families and unconventional love stories with the belief that every image is a small rebellion and a refusal to be erased.
