A Boho Expecting Session

Matthias and Anaïs had been together for seven years when they found out they were expecting their first child, a little boy who was born this past summer. “This pregnancy was unexpected and a wonderful surprise. I have been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease last year, dealing with my healing journey I made the choice to stop my birth control. I started to manage another way but didn’t work as expected!” laughs the new mom. 

Matthias + Anaïs chose LOVT Studio for an aesthetic that was authentic to them. It was important for them to do their session in a space where they could be true to themselves and to have photographer Jessica of Whim & Willow document moments that they would typically have in their own home. “Think cozy cuddles, tea sipping and Matthias playing the guitar for Anaïs and baby,” exclaims Jessica. “We have no doubt that their little bean will be born into an extremely loving home as we got to witness first hand how in love these two are with each other.”
