I have been designing flowers since I was 17, for 20 years I have worked for some of the best floral shops from San Diego to Philadelphia helping clients and brides bring to fruition the ideas of a perfect wedding day or floral design for the home or gift. I started my store to be able to be at home for my first child. I did not want to spend all my holidays and weekends away working, not being able to be present for my family and my young daughter. I had always wanted to venture out on my own but keeping fresh flowers fresh is a laborious, time consuming, costly, risky business limited to your local area.

Etsy and Preserved flowers were the answer I was looking for.. to be able to do what I love while being able to take care and be there for the little person I loved the most. I first came across preserved flowers while working on the entrance display of the Philadelphia Flower show in 2010 which is the largest indoor flower show in the world. Thousands of preserved roses and flowers covered a 30 foot floating hot air ballon hovering over the convention center floor to greet the thousands of people to enter the show. Preserved roses and flowers were used for large scale installation pieces and events like this but were not a well known or available option for most. I decided that more people need to know about these flowers and Floral-essence was born. Preserved flowers allow me to make beautiful bouquets and designs and ship them anywhere without any worry and limitations of wilting fresh flowers. These flowers are a perfect solution for me and for people who want to enjoy their flowers for more than a few days.. these flowers last for YEARS. Preserved flowers do not wilt in the heat or freeze in the cold, they require no special temperature conditions, refrigeration or water. People are amazed when they see and feel these REAL preserved flowers and most cannot tell the difference between fresh and preserved, they are truly amazing!
