The natural wood is protected and nourished with natural polishing wax.

I am changing the review to 5* based on the suppliers response to my original review. Excellent service. My origginal review for context - The ring is beautiful but it has come considerably smaller than expected. My wife would be a 5 normally but this is tiny and doesn't fit. Very disappointing
