It's official. Two of the world's most beautiful people are off the market. Designer and “American Dream Builders” host Nate Berkus married designer and TV personality Jeremiah Brent over the weekend at the New York Public Library (the first same-sex couple to do so — how cool!).

The handsome couple got engaged last April at Peru's Machu Picchu and somehow found time to star in a Banana Republic campaign in the midst of wedding planning. But just wait until you hear the details of their wedding …

Wedding royalty Marcy Blum and her team designed the (what we can only imagine to be beyond extraordinary) event for 220 guests that included Oprah Winfrey, Rachael Ray, Katie Lee, Rebecca Minkoff, Irene Neuwirth and Busy Philipps. The colors were a masculine and sexy palette of black, whites and creams with touches of gold and natural elements such as geodes, minerals and lush greenery.

They incorporated Berkus's fabric line for Target into the ceremony backdrop and his own  linen line (available at Calico) for the reception's long wooden farm tables. The tables were set with more of Berkus's collections, and Great Performances catered a menu specifically designed for the pair's tastes. Nathan Heinrich Design spearheaded the floral design and entertainment was provided by Gospel for Teens/The Mama Foundation for the Arts (a favorite choir of Berkus's), DJ Mad Marj and singer Estelle.

Berkus wore J.Crew while his husband looked dashing in Saint Laurent and they exchanged identical gold Van Cleef & Arpels bands. We loved how they incorporated everyday labels with high end into their wedding design — hopefully they won't make us wait too long for photos!
