It's always exciting being part of a wedding party, but when one of your bridesmaid “duties” means you get to jet off to California wine country for a weekend, that's a pretty sweet bonus. I just returned from an amazing bach party for one of my best friends, Nina, and I have to say, it couldn't have been more perfect, from a vineyard tour to a hot air balloon ride and professional photo shoot with adorable I Do Crew tees! We kicked off our vineyard hopping at Gloria Ferrer — a perfect first stop with sparkling wine and breathtaking views. Next, we stopped at B.R. Cohn and tasted award-winning cabernet (my favorite sip of the week!) on a gorgeous patio, followed by a tasting at VJB Vineyard and Cellars, which doubles as a perfect place to grab lunch — their brick-oven pizzas and salads are delicious! We then headed to Benziger Vineyards, which has incredibly lush gardens, where we met up with Michelle from Flytographer for this adorable photo session. For those of you who haven't heard of Flytographer, they are a travel photography business — perfect for proposals, honeymoons (I used them during my honeymoon in Italy!) and bach parties. To say I'm a fan of theirs would be an understatement. I love them.  Of course, a bach party isn't complete without matching t-shirts! I'm obsessed with these from Etsy shop Fun Fashion Shirts — they felt much more fresh and modern than other ones I came across thanks to the trendy font and cute sayings. And all of the girls raved about the off-the-shoulder style and incredibly soft fabric. The shop also has some great options for the honeymoon and pregnancy! I also had custom temp tattoos made for the weekend that said, “I'm with Nina's bachelorette party. If I'm lost please buy me a drink.” So fun! Other highlights included a hot air balloon ride over Napa Valley (I've used the main two companies in the past and highly recommend this one), an amazing dinner and cocktails at The Girl and the Fig in Sonoma, and additional tastings at Sojourn Cellars, a cozy tasting room in downtown Sonoma (say hi to Chase for us if you go!), and Domaine Chandon (a beautiful, hillside property — get there early because it gets busy and be sure to take a picture on the adirondack chairs overlooking the valley!).
